The Field UBACS is a modern update of our classic UBACS design. It features a sturdy front and back yoke for enhanced durability when used with plate carriers. Additionally, we have introduced a new inherently flame-resistant (FR) jersey body that improves comfort and longevity. The fit has been refined with newly tapered sleeves, and the gusseted cuff allows for easy rolling of the mission-critical hero sleeve.
Our newest design in a classic pattern, using a Poly Cotton ripstop fabric with our usual DWR finish for water resistance and treatment for reduced NIR signature (lower reflectivity when seen through night vision devices).
Please note that, unlike the rest of our Poly Cotton Ripstops, the Tiger Stripe colorway uses a heavier 65/35 245gsm fabric, making it even more durable but requiring a little wearing in.
The body uses a durable Modacrylic/Viscose interlocked jersey which is breathable, less prone to piling and inherently flame-resistant. Using the properties of the fibres instead of an external treatment means its FR properties won't expire or diminish over time.
Designed with movement in mind, the raglan sleeve pairs with the adjusted underarm panels to keep the shirt in place while active. Zipped admin pockets on each sleeve allow for slick storage underneath the Velcro ID patch.
