The ARKTIS PARKA is famous for being made of durable outer fabrics, normally ripstop material, with superb hood and avalanche peak (wired). They are available in windproof or waterproof options. The highly breathable waterproof version removes the need for an additional waterproof jacket. The smock is the basis for our latest Combat Uniform design for the Irish and German armies. Famous also for the basis for the SAS smock, ARKTIS regularly provides the force of BRITAIN, FRANCE, SWEDEN, IRELAND, DENMARK, BELGIUM and HOLLAND, as well as elite units within the police.

The simplicity of this concept has still escaped some procurement systems locked into the idea of producing separate external waterproofs – which have to be packed and carried as extra load. The Waterproof parka offers all important requirements, and with the superbly breathable dropliner gives a range of flexibility that has to be experienced to be appreciated. The waterproof system is unexposed to direct sunlight and abrasion, and thus provides an enduring performance.
